Welcome Respite

Blue sky, Green grass

Good morning, world. Whether you read this or not, whether you like me or not, and whether you live in a home or a bush – I hope you have a wonderful, peachy day. This planet is too big for us to be wallowing in the mud of negative thoughts. Don’t forget, we are all ants. We live, we die, and the world and its entire people continue to turn.

I returned from my vacation last night. My family and I spent three days in a fancy cabin in the woods. We saw deer, blue jays, and waterfalls as we contemplated how our world is shaping. I’d like to think anyone can afford a respite such as this, but that’s not the case. Without my family helping me, I would never have been able to afford it. Thank you, Mom and Dad, Tim, Thu, and David. It was fun.

Summer is upon us. The sun is out and although it is trying to kill us, you have to appreciate that we live on a wonderful planet.

And now Deep Thoughts by Jeff Eblen, “Have you ever been sitting at your favorite restaurant and all of a sudden something comes screaming out of no where and attaches itself to the face of the guy sitting next to you. He’s screaming, ‘GET IT OFF, MAN. GET IT OFF! IT’S SUCKING MY WILL TO LIVE!’ And all you can do is sit and laugh because what the hell is that thing anyway?”

Our planet is fun but play with it nicely or it’s likely to bite you.
